I suspect that since TRS+ has a badge and is viewed as important, Ebay does not wish to permit confusion by allowing sellers to use TRS in their descriptions.

I suspect no one you could contact knows what the bot is doing or why.
Since my sales have never been affected by whether I am TRS or not, I cannot see any real issue.
You have not been TRS for 20 years because TRS has not existed for 20 years. We might have been power sellers 20 years ago. That too was meaningless.
