I added a photo to a post recently. I noticed this photo was on my community profile under "My Photos". It was just a picture of some words that was appropriate for the a question that I was answering, but I didn't want it on my community profile. I deleted it from "My Photos", but by doing so it was also removed from my post.
Is there a way to remove a photo from "My Photos" on my community profile page without removing it from the original post?

I do not think the "My Photos" portion of your community profile page is publicly viewable. I have several photos that appear in mine, but if I sign out and view my profile page, that section does not appear.

I saw some photos on some other profiles so I thought mine were viewable too. I believe they have changed their privacy settings to display their photos.
I did as you said, I signed out and I didn't see any photos on my profile.
Thank you.

You are correct -- I just checked My Photos in my profile, under Albums there are two default albums: Hidden and Public. All of my photos are in the Hidden album (I believe that is the default option), though that does not stop me from actually including them in posts, where they become viewable.
If you put photos in the Public album, they should be viewable in your profile by other folks.
Thanks -- I learned something new!
