How to give discount price for customer?

My buyer send the offer to my product. And I accepted it. Now order status is awaiting payment. But buyer ask me another small discount. So I can provide it. So I tried with "send invoice to buyer" option & put my new discount amount in Adjustments line. And tick the discount. But I always shown as "Invalid discount amount. Please enter a discount less than $0.00 (shipping)." What I do for it?

I had the same error just now, found this while searching for the error message.

I had local pickup on the invoice, which is a 0.00 charge.  I deleted this line and was able to run the discount.  Granted it's a year plus later, but hopefully it can help someone else!

Discounts on an invoice can never be more than the shipping charged, if the listing is free shipping no further discount can be given via the invoice method.

I'm not sure why you would be willing to give an additional discount after a buyer has made an offer and you accepted.

In any event, if you really want to give them an even lower price than their offer you could tell them that you will give them a partial refund AFTER they pay the current agreed upon price.
