I had an old account from back in the late 90s. I used it for about ten years. I remember my username was banglebabe or banglebabe1. My password was a 4-digit number back the. Obviously now no-one uses 4 digits for anything. But I tried signing in anyways. Is there a way to retrieve it and merge it into this new account? I had a lot of positive seller reviews and just for nostalgia purpose, I wanted to view my old "my
ebay" page.

To my knowledge, eBay does not merge accounts. Only eBay can help you recover an old account, but my guess is that they will not.

eBay has no mechanism for combining accounts that I am aware of.
In any case, it appears that your old accounts no longer exist. A search for either of those usernames returns the following: "One or more of the seller User IDs you entered was not found."
After a certain amount of time (a year or two?) with no sign-ins, eBay will apparently delete old accounts to protect them from being hijacked and misused. And at least once in the last twenty years, eBay required most users to change their passwords due to a data breach.

If you have access to the email used to create the account use it to try and sign in or do a password reset
