Does anyone know what it will take to get eBay to fix their issue with adding a bank account?

Clearly a tech error on their end and it's been a week that they're holding my money hostage based on their tech error

 

Who / how do I contact someone that's not going to give me canned responses?

Have you tried going to the bottom of the list and clicking your bank isn't listed?

You can use your routing and account number and not have to go through Trustly.

Finally fixed after more than a week.   Nothing worse than having to do QA and research to point out a giant corp's tech issue

It suddenly started working.  I also **bleep**ed in a support chat a lot.

 

Do you see the same error message if you try on the mobile app that I posted a few comments back?

No because I can’t even get to the select a bank part because it’s just loading it’s been 2 weeks nothing

If you have not already done so, try a private or incognito browser window, or try another browser altogether.

 

Or use another device, preferably a desktop computer.

I tried all those things while it was happening with me. Cleared cookies  3 browsers, incognito window, phone app, ipad, desktop but maybe the other person will have luck

If it suddenly started working, eBay may have changed something. Sometimes using an incognito browser window or clearing your cache or eBay cookies can, when combined with a change by eBay, make something work that otherwise may not.

 

Someone else using another browser that has not deleted cache or cookies may still be running into the problem because the change that eBay has made may conflict with old cache or cookie data. Or some browsers may work and others may not. 

 

It may start working again spontaneously as old cache or cookie data is eventually overwritten; but sometimes deleting that old data or bypassing it entirely can speed things up.
