I'd like to contact ebay about a technical error.
ebay's customer support "contact us" page goes around in circles with help articles but no way to actually "contact us". I've just spent the last 50 min going around in circles trying to find a way to contact someone.
My issue: Ebay sent me an email. The headline banner was for a discount that ended August 31st. The email was sent Sept 16th. I spent 30min looking for that special before seeing the date. The email was from ebay.com.au, but the "Contact Us" at the bottom takes me to ebay.com.
Attached is an image of the email.

IT'S IMPOSSIBLE. THEY DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT! THIS IS PROBABLY THE ONLY REPLY YOU'LL GET FOM YOUR MESSAGE.

I am not sure eBay customer service will help you with this one. In any case here is how you can contact eBay.
Try using Facebook or Twitter, that worked for me.
You can send an email message to eBay. Not sure if email is working. It is hit and miss due to COVID-19. I just used it on Aug 11, 2020 and got a reply and solution to a problem I found here on eBay. I was shocked. I used it again on Aug 26, 2020 and got a call and they took care of an eBay issue.
Here is the link:
The email option is at the bottom of the link. Or you can reach out to customer service using social media:
Social media worked for me. I received an answer and resolution to my issue fairly quickly. The CSR ended up calling me. It wouldn't hurt to leave a contact number.
You can also try to get phone support by visiting any help topic page, scroll down to the bottom of the page to the call back option. Click on the option and you should get a message that you will get a call back with the estimated time.
Be advised that this option is not available 24/7. If you try a time that is not eBay’s normal business hours the option may not be there or your call back will be take longer. I recommend trying this option in the morning California time.
Hope this helps!

Thanks @the.quality.goods.store
I kind'a assumed that. If they actually wanted any feedback, they would make it easier. Good customer service allows reasonable and diverse access to feedback, even if they don't like what you have to say. The customer needs to feel heard. Some people don't understand this.

Thanks @japan-treazures ,
Great and comprehensive help. I'm going to keep yourwonderful info in my offline ebay folder.
Pity they make it hard for old-school email people. (And to think I once offered my IT services to a big building company who said they would never need email, let alone computers. lol. A lot changes in a short time.)
Cheers!

You are so very welcome! Glad to help! I have had luck with the old school email. It could have been timing, a fluke or even a glitch and I got lucky.
In any case, I would try all the options until one works.
I know stated taht I didn't think eBay CSR's could help you on your issue, it never hurts to ask. All they can do is say no and that alone will keep you from wondering.
Good luck to you and I hope that they will help you!

I followed your instructions to the T snd only found myself going back to the same link page again and again. I find no help from eBay on their technical issues! I am a seller and found one sold item in their unsold section snd also found a book that was currently being bud on in the unsold section as well! So if your a seller look there often!

You can not contact customer service unless you are very savvy and technically inclined. They prefer that you scroll through the help pages and look for the answers there. You may find help here, but most people here have limited knowledge and access when it comes to specific account issues.

This thread is from 2020, and some contact details have changed since then.
You should be able to go to the Help and Contact page and use the "Contact us" link to reach the chat assistant. From there you can request a chat with an agent or a call back in North America by typing "agent" into the chat window. You may need to provide some contextual keywords to get a call back from the correct department.
The social media links should still be working.
