Did you mean:

How many times do you need to report something to get a result?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/WALKAROO-XTREME-Steel-Balance-Stilts-with-Height-Adjustable-Vert-Lifters-by...

I reported this for several months.

Its not a ham radio amplifier.

Whats ebay's problem? They're too lazy to remove stuff?

Re: How many times do you need to report something to get a result?

Seller is a SCAMMER. They open a new account and sell little junk to build some feedback then clone listings of other sellers to "sell" stuff they don't have. This listing is still among "seller's other items" and is a complete scam:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/332973096312

Legit listing that was cloned:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/232348972072

Product:

http://www.daytonaudio.com/index.php/dats-dayton-audio-test-system.html

This SCAM SELLER does NOT have that product.

Also, another SCAM listing from that seller:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/332973105427

Legit listing that was copied:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/141752564211

Over a week ago the scam seller had a few dozen items listed, but the account is still open and eBay has been dragging their corpse across a vast desert to do much of anything about it.

@leaky-bucket-labs

That link you posted:

https://www.ebay.com/b/Ham-Amateur-Radio-Amplifiers/163853/bn_317603?rt=nc&_odkw=&_sop=10&_catref=1&...

is not an actual search, it's just a category list with no search terms -- that's why it always shows 48 items per page. If you start with your link and you enter the text "-walkaroo" without the quotes into the search field and then hit "search", you will wind up with this:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=-walkaroo&_sacat=163853

which should look like the picture in my message above, and should be much easier to work with. And no more walkaroos.

Re: How many times do you need to report something to get a result?

Apparently all of the scammer's scam-listings are again active:

https://www.ebay.com/sch/zhiqoov/m.html

How many times: Infinity-times, apparently.

VeRO, Trademark, Scam = "All is good" according to eBay.

trinton@ebay

Scam/fraud-seller and their scam/fraud-listings are STILL ACTIVE giving MAJOR BLACK EYE to all of eBay... and eBay has taken ZERO ACTION = Typical response to such issues.

Re: How many times do you need to report something to get a result?

Hello! I am also having a problem with no follow-through by eBay. I am trying to escalate a case. In fact, eBay has sent me two emails telling me to escalate the case or it will be automatically closed in 3 days.

However, NONE of the instructions they give to escalate the case work!
This is directly from the email:

"Details on how to escalate your case:
Follow the Case Details link below
Click "Respond to Case"
Select "Escalate this case" to eBay Customer Support
Click "Submit" after providing additional details you'd like to share about your case...
Here are the details of your case(s):"
However, when I click on that link, the page that comes up offers no link or verbiage that says "Respond to Case" nor "Escalate this case". A search for the term "Escalate this case" on eBay only brings up items/cases for sale! The ONLY option I have is to either "Send a message to the seller" which I have done several times and they have been giving me the run around for weeks! Or, to "Close this request" I MUST click one option to move on. Since I don't want to CLOSE the case, I select send a message and then we go round the merry go round, again! This has been going on since the 3rd week of November!!! Long past the 3 days eBay allows for us to resolve our dispute. But, if you read the responses from the seller, it is clear at this point, that they have no intention of replacing my broken cord. They told me once it was already sent, then they said they could not find my order, then they said they didn't have my address, then they said it was sent again! eBay where are you????

Is ANYBODY home at eBay??? PLEASE HELP ME

How can I take action against eBay? Any ideas. please!
