How do you take a SCREENSHOT of your performance stats ?

anyone know how you take a screenshot of your selling stats? would love to share the graph from March 28-April 25, my listing impressions are down 21% and my listing views are down 25% since April 6th. It's like LIGHTS OUT looking at the graph for sales per day you can see a huge change starting April 6

I don't do screenshots, sorry, but maybe this will help you.  I hope so.

Alt + Print Screen. To take a quick screenshot of the active window, use the keyboard shortcut Alt + PrtScn. This will snap your currently active window and copy the screenshot to the clipboard. You'll need to open the shot in an image editor to save it.Apr 3, 2019

Are you using eBay's desktop version or mobile app? Which operating system are you using?

I hope it works.  That was the first thing that popped up.  There was another article on How To Take A Screenshot in Windows 10, but this looked simpler.

Not that I think you are simple; I just think the easier the instructions are, the better!

Re: How do you take a SCREENSHOT of your performance stats ?

I use a program called Printkey2000

It is a simple program. The fact that I can use it is proof of that.

When I save a "screen shot" it goes to "my pictures" where I can then use "paint" to edit out the 'nunya' parts.

That will take a shot of exactly what's on the screen--which is fine, if everything you want is visible on the screen; in other words, if there is anything above or below what you can see on your screen, it won't take a shot of that. It won't  capture anything you'd have to scroll to see. (Am I explaining that correctly?) So, for example, a screenshot won't capture a whole discussion board thread from the first message on the page to the last message on the page--it will only capture the message(s) you can see on your screen without scrolling.

I use the desktop version of eBay with Windows 10 OS and a Chrome browser. I use an app called "Full Page Screen Capture." It's a bit cumbersome, but it will capture the entire page from top to bottom. It then has to be downloaded (I download it as a png file) and can be edited in Paint (if it needs to be sanitized, for example).

Yes, those are all great ways to take a screenshot, so if the OP's selling stats appear on one screen, any of those will work.

If the selling stats take up more than one screen (meaning, if s/he has to scroll up or down to see the complete documents), s/he'll need to find a page shot or page capture app.

So, here's what a screenshot taken with any of those options looks like:

Screenshot (7).png

And here's what a page shot looks like:

Capture a.PNG

So. if the OP's selling stats fit on one screen, without scrolling up or down, s/he can certainly use one of the eight options in the linked article; however, if the selling stats document does not fit on one screen (s/he needs to scroll up or  down to see the whole document), the screenshot options won't work (unless s/he wants to take and post more than one of them). She'll want to look for a page shot app.

Re: How do you take a SCREENSHOT of your performance stats ?

I use Windows 7 with Google Chrome on a desktop computer.  I asked one of the Mentors, and it was suggested to use the SNIP tool that comes with Windows 7.  Not sure if it's available with Windows 10 or not.

I have the icon for the program down in my system tray (I think that is what it's called).  It's on the same line as my START button.  So when someone asks a question and I need a screenshot, I click on that SNIP icon, and I can capture the screenshot and save it to a folder I have for all of my ebay screenshots.  The only drawback with this program is that it does not capture any drop-down windows in the screen capture.

The snipping tool is indeed available in Windows 10. The snipping tool was one of the eight options described in the link @castlemagicmemories provided in her post #10.

Again, the snipping tool will capture only what you see on the current screen. It will not capture anything above or below; i.e., you can't scroll to include any material that might be outside that specific screen. You need a page shot app/tool for that.

Please see my Message #11 for the difference between a screenshot and a page shot.

If @ekmadonna's document takes up more than one screen, the snipping tool won't be sufficient.

Alternately, I suppose one could take multiple screenshots and post however many it takes to capture the entire document.
