How do I reach a human at Ebay now (2020 - 2021)?

I tried calling the Ebay CS number and it tells me to go find another way...

I tried requesting calls from the ebay support page, but have been doing so all day. And I now get error:

What is wrong with you Ebay, its as if you don't want to allow users to conduct business on your awful website. And if it didn't involve actual money and/or my reputation I wouldn't need to say this, but here goes: Ebay, I think your actions are borderline criminal and that you are intentionally blocking users from basic inalienable rights. I think you should stand trial for some of your actions and I would be glad to testify that you are guilty of extortion.

can you please make it possible for users to resolve financial situations resulting from interaction with system without encountering countless unreasonable over complications in place solely to confuse and delay real customers.

I can't imagine why any company would want to insight true customer resentment, but you are one of the few - Congratulations!

The COVID-19 pandemic was the original excuse for the CS cut backs. I think they have realized that "Hey, this simplifies our lives, saves us money, and we don't need to talk to those pesky customers", so it probably isn't going to change anytime soon.

Your best bet is to try to contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.
