How do I delete my eBay Community account?

I am still hoping for a logical reply. I have been informed I can have this account deleted--an eBay staff member staff said this. So of course I need to discover how. This is me bumping, in hopes of finding what I need.

If you feel that you need to delete your community account, reach out to Alan with your request. Please explain fully, including the info from your conversation with Customer Service, about the reaon for your request.
