Help! Listing prices suddenly change when opened 😕

I've never experienced this issue before with eBay. It's making it impossible for me to search for listings within my price ranges. I'm doing searches for items and then when those results come up I select sort by lowest price. But then what I click on them, basically most of them suddenly have a different price when I open up that listing.

PLEASE NOTE: I'm not talking about specific model/size/color selections within that listing being higher than other selections. I mean literally the price of an actual single item just suddenly changing as soon as I open it. Like a bait and switch.

Here's one of many examples:

It's maddening and it makes searching impossible for me on this app now, and I can't find any settings anywhere that make a difference. I'm close to quitting eBay.

It appears that item is displayed in US $ in the search, but when you open the individual listing, the price is denominated in Canadian $.

When viewed in a desktop browser, the price is shown in both currencies, at least approximately.

[I just noticed that the US $ amount is displayed in the app, although it is harder to see in your photo.]

But how do I change it so I can continue to use the app? There's nowhere in any of the settings that I could find how to correct this. Never used to happen before.

I do not think there is a setting you can change; the original item is in Canada, and is listed in Canadian dollars. If you view items listed in other countries, they are likely to appear in whichever currency is used there, whether you use the app or a browser. Just go by the US $ conversion amount shown below the other currency.

If your searches are shown in US dollars, the items that appear in the results should still fall within the price range you specify in US dollars, even if the price shown in the item listing is in another currency.

You can change your search settings so that you only see items listed in the United States, but then you will miss out on the many items that are not.
