Hello all. Hopefully someone higher up then customer service can please reach out to me, if not, can anyone in the community please help.
I have not been able to print a shipping label on ebay in almost 4 years...have spent many hours with customer service...have been told too many times to count how my issue is being sent to IT...then silence...and more silence with no follow up whatsoever. Then have to call back customer service again and again to go through the whole process to be told the same thing...its actually gone from severe frustration to actual comedy.
Now that the new payment processing program is being forced on us in July, we may have to drop our listings from ebay since we cannot print a shipping label.
Why can we not get any customer service?????

What kind of problems are you having printing a shipping label?
I had problems when Ebay first changed the shipping label program and had to update my PDF reader to print the labels.

We are on a Mac, so we have tried other browsers (which is the only fix that customer service can supply us with) to no avail. We have also tried using other computers both Mac and PC and get the same message on all of them, so that leads us to believe that its the an account issue possibly?
We used to get a "cannot generate a label at this time" error message a while back before some changes were made to the website.
We will look at updating our PDF reader as well and see if there is a change.

MP does not require you to print a label on eBay.
Use PP, stamps dot com, Pirateship....................

We currently use PP to ship the labels because the orders auto populate into their website. With the new system coming up there will be no more population automatically into PP, so we will have to go into ebay and cut and paste every order into PP or any other site...just looking to save as much time as possible since we sell on other websites.

Understandable. Getting those #'s in is important. Extra work is never a good thing(unless it is OT, and paid)
I was unaware that there was a change that did not allow the PP labels auto populate once a seller is in MP.

Not really following… We have 2 stores with one that has been on the eBay payments almost since day one. We can print labels and are paid through PayPal (separate from eBay Payments). Our payouts from ebay Payments are sent on a weekly basis. Our monthly fees are paid separately from a credit card.
As for printing labels, we have not been able to pint directly to a printer in many years. Best we can do is print to PDF and then sent to printer from Acrobat. We used to combine the PDF’s into one document and then print all the labels at once. However, eBay has just recently passworded the PDF’s whereas we can no longer combine them. We print them out individually. Yes, it takes a bit longer, but less time than trying to help eBay resolving an issue. We adjust.
We only use PS because eBay does not offer Cubic Foot USPS shipping. Our shipping discount is still much better within eBay than anywhere else.

You might try Stamps.com - very very easy to print labels from there and they send the tracking info directly to ebay. Subscription is free to ebay sellers and you can also use them to send packages to friends and family

Are you running Adobe and when was the last time it was updated? In the past I have had to save the label as PDF document then print from the documents file even with updated Adobe. Not so much USPS, but UPS would not print without doing so. I haven't had that happen for a while. Could also be what program you are running, like are you still running W98?

Agreed.
We are not sure on PP getting the information from ebay on orders, we have heard both yes and no from customer service reps, so not really sure how it will work.

The main issue for us is that we cannot go into the PRINT A SHIPPING LABEL pull down without an error coming up immediately. So we, currently, go right to PayPal and print a label off of the payment.
We are currently looking at discounts with other shipping sites, so we will just pivot as usual. We are also looking at your suggestion with Acrobat.
Just frustrating to pay a store fee every month, along with the feeding the fee machine, and get a lacking form of customer service.

Using ebay, have you tried the bulk shipping?
Even though I may have only one item to ship, I use bulk shipping, since I can then print out a SCAN sheet.
