Glitch in system

Bought an item, seller wanted more postage. I agreed, and here is where eBay failed. Can't give an email address for an invoice. Can't cancel sale, too long.  Can't return, hasn't been shipped.  Seller ignores emails. The only option is to call, on eBay's time. There should be some way to solve this via the computer, not have to call. 

Not looking for a solution to my problem, but point this out for everyone in this situation, so maybe eBay will fix this glitch.

How can anyone give you a solution (that you don't want) if you don't state the problem?

 

Is the problem you bought the item and the seller won't ship w/o more postage money and now hasn't shipped and hasn't responded?

 

Report "item hasn't arrived" after the last estimated delivery date. If seller doesnt respond within ebay's time frame set, you can ask ebay to step in and you'll get a refund.

 

All done on a computer. Problem solved (although you didnt want a solution).

Seller is not allowed to ask for more postage, unless you ask for added services not included on the listing.  In that case the seller sends you an invoice with the added service and cost.

 

If you already paid, seller needs to ship.  Ebay is not going to provide an easy way to break the rules.  If seller doesn't ship you file for a refund.  If seller cancels, then ebay will ding the seller's account.
