Very slow picture loading

Pictures get stuck at 28%, then stops at 60% for up to a half hour and then I finally just cancel and try to start over. I've been working on one listing for the past hour. Two pics, that's it!  I've even reload the website before trying again.  I finally got the pics to load and then made a HUGE mistake. I tried to sharpen one of the images. THAT stuck at 30% and never moved. I had to cancel out after waiting an hour to get the pics to load and lost them again!  This has been going on about a week. I cannot get anything done! I can't create listings!! I can load pics on other websites quick and easy. It's only ebay!

What browser are you using? Any difference if you use another?

Have you tried switching between the new listing tool and the advanced or business tool (or whatever the various versions are currently called)?

I have the same problem, try switching your browser to "private browsing or incognito", it's still so, but the pictures should load.

eBay's new "improved" (yeah right) site is 3 times slower than before!

I too have this problem and I have deleted my history and cache memory multiple times. I find it frustrating to wait for the pictures to download because I buy a lot on Ebay. I also sell and I wonder if this might cause others to skip my listings if they don't download the pictures in a timely manner. Ebay needs to fix this most recent problem.

This two year old thread was about problems listing items and uploading images, not viewing items or downloading images.

If you are experiencing problems viewing images or viewing search results more generally, try another browser, or try disabling your ad blocker.

Slow-loading search results can be the result of some specific ad blocking rules that may have problems with sponsored listings. Try disabling "anti-circumvention" filters in Ad Block or ABP filters in Ad Block Plus, or the equivalent.
