As a seller and buyer on Ebay, recently I've encountered payment issues for both when making offers or buyers making an offer. Yesterday I received an offer for a $250 necklace which I accepted, and now thanks to Ebay's new system regarding offers (which I like the item remains for sale), I still have not been paid even though I require immediate payment. Then I made an offer on a pair of jeans, and when I did it said my payment method on file would be charged if the seller accepted, so I assumed the jeans were paid for when she accepted, but last night I noticed it looked like I still had an item in my cart, and there were the jeans, and it said they had not been paid for. So, I paid for them again, it cleared, yet the jeans still showed up in my cart as unpaid.
I contacted Ebay and spoke with a rep there and she told me that the buyer of the necklace had paid, but it didn't show up. I tried to find that transaction by going to "Awaiting Payment", there was nothing there. I wanted to discuss this with the buyer, but the only way to contact them was by going to their page, and messaging them on one of their items for sale, which they didn't respond to, I'm sure they thought it was a scam.
This new system is a mess. I've never had so much trouble getting paid for items I sell when I accept an offer or when a buyer accepts my offer, or when I make an offer. It appears there is definitely a glitch. Anyone else having this problem? I am ready to just remove all my "offers", lower the price and just make them BIN.
