Gallery photos not showing in eBay search

There seems to be a problem with eBay's search. This has been happening since the beginning of October. If I search for an item with say multiple colors that has a gallery photo showing all colors available to the buyer, I don't get this picture in search results. Instead it only shows a photo from one of the variations in search results. Ebay needs to fix this. Loosing sales all this month. Finally realized why

I am having the same problem no gallery photos only variation photos showing in searches I called customer service numerous times for over a week and still waiting to get this sorted

I only see this one listing that is new.......that has variations.......

The combo  picture shows when searching for

Aviator Sunglasses Vintage Mirror Lens

But to me the "choices" are confusing.  Apparently there are 3 frame colors and 3 lens colors but the

choices are:

Silver

Gold

Black

Silver Silver

Gold Blue Green

Gold amber.....

Your pictures show those defined as

Silver shows silver frame blue lens;

black shows black frame blue lens,

Gold shows Gold frame gold lens....

Gold blue green show gold frame blue green lens

Gold amber shows gold frame amber lens.

but I had a hard time figuring out what was what......either need complete descriptions as above or use 2 variations:  frame color, lens color and have the buyer make the choices.
