GTC Multi-variation listings now CANCEL after 30 days - they don't renew!!

All of our GTC listings Multi variation listings are NOT allowed to be automatically renewed, you have to re-list them - losing all of your sales traction!!  

We have listings that are over 3 years old with thousands of items sold, and now all of that data is lost.

Anyone know why would eBay add this new feature ??

Check the last several seasonal seller updates.  Your listings are probably not compliant with all of the required changes over the last year.  eBay has stated several times that non-compliant GTC listings would stop renewing at some point if they were not updated.

Do you have any pics (or other media content) in the main body of your listings?

If so, and if they are not https:// (rather than http:// then eBay no longer permits them. You have to change them to https: Also, if you have any scripts in the body, those are no longer permitted either (for security reasons).
