Find a Member page - not working

eBay deliberately removed that option a few months ago, citing privacy concerns.

buyer had given me a wish list about a year ago and finally found the item and wanted to let her know AND LIST IT ON EBAY.  

have their id, can I somehow contact them?

eBay has been making it harder and harder for sellers to contact buyers without providing a previous transaction number that you have in common. If you can dig up an old transaction number of an item that this buyer purchased from you, you can try the old member search:

Not sure if it works if the transaction number is a year old, though. You might be able to get an email address if you can track down the original paypal transaction.

Another possibility is the old "feedback member search" page -- which gives you a link to their user page, which does have a "contact" link. I have not actually tried it, so I don't know if it will still send a message or if it has been disabled.

Of course, if the member is currently selling anything, you can contact them through one of their item listings.

Sold item search only goes back 90 days. 

Paypal doesn't have a search by ebay id

they are not a seller so can't look that way

however, the feedback link worked!!!!  and, i can contact them thru that.
