Feedback and ebays head in the sand.

EBAY It is very clear to me as a seller and a buyer that ebays feedback policy favors the buyers over the sellers, by allowing buyers to manipulate the feedback system without cause or worrant and buyer's knowing that a buyer wont receive anything less then a positive, if? the buyer receives any feedback at all, This just makes a buyer fill that, under any whim, buyers can give bad feedback if the seller does not dot there i's or cross there tee's. Buyers don't even need to respond to sellers questions. I know that when (I) buy from a seller/s I can give bad feedback  all-day-long, knowing that the seller has no protection over the un-worranted feedback just received. If I were to guess? sense the change in the feedback policy some years back too favor the buyers, The buyers are dishing out more negative feedback/s and the sellers give-out less feedback if any at all.

Ebay your feedback system is out of balance. Do I think that ebay cares? No, because we are not people we are just a number for ebays investors. I baker*** will never ever sell on ebay, until this feedback system turns equal for both party's. But I will buy on ebay "especially" knowing that I will never receive a negative no matter what I buy. Ebay if you want me back as a seller? GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE f-n SAND AND FIX THIS. If not, then I will say TODAY, good bye as a seller.

Sellers, I do fill very sorry for all of you & me that recived un-worranted feedback from buyer/s that hide behind there computer, these buyers are just cowards and scam artist. Do I think ebay will fix this un-ballance feedback issue? ...No because ebays head is stuck way to far in the sand. I can remember a time not to long ago when being a member on ebay,  just how fun it was to buy & sell. Now selling is nothing but frustrating.

Re: Feedback and ebays head in the sand.

First of all eBays head isn't stuck in the sand -it's more likely  stuck somewhere up it's chief stock holders body someplace.

Secondly be careful even texting an acronym such as f-n in here, I guarantee you some eBay hugger do gooder will report it and the post will magically vanish forever.

eBays favoured the Seller for more than a decade now but back in the day a seller could post negative feedbacks same as the buyer -it was a "you dis me -I dis you" kind of playground. I miss those days sort of but I have to say that buyers probably abused it more than sellers.

I know it stinks and isn't neccessarily fair but I can guarantee you it's forced sellers to really tow the line and provide their buyers with a high quality reliable service and experience.

You want the exact same thing when you buy something right?

Just remember. You can please all of the people some of the time and some of the people all of the time, but you will never please all of the people all of the time.

Peace and good luck!

Re: Feedback and ebays head in the sand.

So, are you saying when the Buyers reviews show as positive they may in fact not be positive? I have a buyer right now that has his feedback settings to private so I can't see what's written but the reviews all show positive.

So, have you filed an "Unpaid Item" case in the Resolution Center yet?

Here is the info in case you need it:

Buyers can NOT get anything but a positive feedback from a seller.
