I really wish the Ebay administration would communicate with the Postal Administrative Services concerning the mail just sitting for extended periods of time. Two items arrived in Morristown, NJ on July 13 one item was sent to Atlanta on July 20. I received the item sent to Atlanta on August 06. The second item remains in Morristown, NJ. The second item has been sitting in New Jersey since July 13 to the present August 9. I live in North Carolina. I don't understand the reasoning for this delay. Can this issue be addressed. This is discouraging for business.

This problem is affecting all USPS package delivery not just eBay. If the slowdowns and increased volumes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic weren't enough, the Postmaster General ordered cutbacks in overtime, and expenditures, causing many pieces of mail to be left behind when dispatching trucks and carriers. Use to be that personnel would stay until all items were on their way to the next facility. That's not happening anymore.
As to your lost items, if you have the tracking number, you can try filing missing mail searches on the USPS website. That sometimes gets things moving again.
