Every auction I click on shows 10 large balk boxes before the description .

This has happened on another computer with no connection to mine.

Should be BLANK boxes .

I noticed that yesterday. Thought I'd lost internet connection, which doesn't even make sense because I could see everything else lol, but that's where my brain went for half a second. 

What was missing were all the promoted listings, which people pay to have them appear there.

If you do not want to see those blank blocks (or the promoted listings that normally appear there), try adding the following custom rule to your ad blocker:

ebay.com##.merch-skeleton

No more blank boxes (or promoted listings) -- at least until eBay changes things around again.

I will try the ad thing. One day the boxes are there and the next day not.
