When buyers are looking at my Halloween costume listings they are seeing a delivery date past Halloween. I have 1 business day handling in all my listings. I had a sale yesterday and in my Manage orders page it shows to ship by October 29! WHAT!?! It should have said October 23! I have checked my listings handling time and they still show shipping within one business day. Needless to say I am losing sales because customers think the purchase would arrive after Halloween. Is anyone else having this problem on their listing page?

Hi, This is what I see: Estimated on or before Sat. Nov. 02 to 61364. I do not see that you ship in 1 day. You have quite a few of costumes, maybe could you write in the comments you ship the next day. I know we should not have to but maybe on the ones people are looking at. This one I looked at:

I'm not having it on my listings; today they all show Delivery by Oct. 28th. I do see this on your listings though (Delivery by Nov. 2nd). I have no idea what would cause that glitch unless your "Handling Time" got bumped up from one day to more than that?

Mine are doing this as well. I have priority mail selected on most of my listings but they are showing almost 10 days for delivery, and my sales have been suffering. I called Ebay about it and they said if you offer multiple shipping options it will show the delivery date for the longest one in the listing. However, I only had priority selected. They couldn't provide an explanation.
I just chalk these things up to the various 'technical errors' that have been plaguing this site lately. It's incredibly frustrating because we absolutely should not have to deal with this garbage. I have been slowly migrating my listings to Amazon. They have higher fees but I am able to charge about 15% more for my items. People really like 2 day shipping

I looked at 2 of your listings, and both show an estimated delivery date of November 1 to me in zip code 92802. ebay used to display the handling time, but they no longer do so.

There is some severe weather all across the country that is affecting postal delivery so that makes sense. One wonders though why folks hadn't bought their costumes before now if they wanted it before Halloween but that's just me.

The problem is that they have no clue how to fix much of anything , just saying they will fix it does not work. Today is the 10th of December,if someone purchased something from me the estimated time to arrive if purchased today... is Monday the 16th to Thursday the 18th. I ship same day or the next. Buyers seeing the long time of arrival estimated by ebay makes buyer think they may not get there purchase soon enough. I am obligated to ship within one day of purchase,so the buyer WILL receive there item well before the ebay estimated time. the total misrepresentation of ebays estimated delivery time could or would make a buyer hesitant of purchasing something they needed to have sooner than the ebay estimated time, this really hurts sellers especial so close to Christmas. Hope you can fix this problem soon. Thanks for all the help from customer support again, they have not the power to fix everything I have ever had a problem with. Hopefully someone could read this and fix this problem, who knows. Happy Holidays to all sellers buyers and ebay staff and have a Merry Christmas!!!

Same issue here.... on our "Manage Orders awaiting shipment" page the ship by date for orders placed Dec 10th via priority mail ( and a 2 day handling time) show a ship by date of Dec 23rd! We also noticed in some listings the estimated delivery date for an item with 2 - 3 day handling time showed the buyer an estimated arrival time within 7-10 days but if that listing was changed to a 4 day handling time the estimated arrival time extended out to over 1 month.

I know this post is from October, but that's about when I started to experience the same thing. The estimated delivery on half of my products are wayyyyyy off.
