Error Adding Bank Account

Keep getting "We ran into a problem. Please try again later" when adding my bank. Have to do it manually no matter what. Everything I put is exact. Only difference is my bank renamed themselves and added the word "Financial" after their name. Still waiting on payment from buyer for my first item, but I would like this resolved so I can get that payment asap.

The usual issues involve things like name and address matching exactly character for character on eBay and the bank. You must use a checking account, and have the proper ACH routing number -- not necessarily the same as the number that appears on your checks. You must use a street address, no PO Box.

If you use a middle initial, try including the initial in the "first name" box of your eBay account info rather than in the dedicated "middle initial" box -- some users indicated that can make a difference.

Name matches exactly. I have a middle name, but it's not listed online. I grab the routing number straight from my banks website. We only have an address.

What is up with this HUUGGE list of technical issues?!

I can't change payout I fo to another bank...have been trying for months. Have pending sales but thinking of canceling them all and leaving ebay for good.

I actually finally got it. I had my account number wrong. Just waiting for the microdeposits

I'm assuming that's what's happened to me but I can't find a way to correct the original bank account number or even check it. How did you access this?

I found the correct routing and account number on my banks website. It's not the same routing # as the ones on my checks since the bank has changed hands over the years. For my bank's site it was opening up account activity, then details, then routing info. 

I still can't get my bank's account linked but at least this corrected one issue. Hope this helps.

I need to speak to a representative.  when i manually add my bank routing and account number to link ot for payouts it brings up the wrong bank.  the bank it brings up is not the same routing number as my bank.  i have investigated and trying for weeks, and I been to my bank 3x and it is determined that ebay has an error in their bank routing number databse.  i must get help from an e

bay rep.. can anyone please give me the secret number to please  f---- get some f---- help???

Please start your own post, this one is over 2 years old. When you start your new post, add what bank you are trying to use. Not all banks, such as some branches of Bank of America, can be used to receive payments.
