Hello! I am trying to make a spreadsheet comparing items of various prices for my sister, as she is looking to stock up on a toy my niece loves that might be discontinued soon.
The issue is that when I hit the "share" button to grab a short link, a Captcha comes up. When I solve the image Captcha, it redirects to a page that says the item/page could not be found. I'm using Google Chrome on Windows 10, so I disabled my browser extensions and tried again. Same issue. I also tried it in Firefox with no browser extensions enabled. The issue persists.
After several minutes of waiting it allowed me to share/grab a shortened link for like two more items, and then it was back to the Captchas and the redirect to a broken page.
Please advise.

I don't know the answer to what's triggering the endless captcha nonsense. Hopefully someone else might. If you're not super attached to that specific short/share link format, hitting ctrl-L ctrl-C will grab you the full url very quickly, and trimming all those long urls down at the end to keep your spreadsheet tidy would be as simple as splitting on the ? character with a text-to-columns operation.

It's definitely super weird. I'm not super attached to the format! I am hyperlinking text instead of pasting the full link. That key shortcut is so helpful! I will try to trim it down at the ?. Thank you so much!

Very welcome. The trimming thing is easy as pie, I suspect you'll like it too. May be called something different in the spreadsheet program you use but here's a quick little demo/tutorial thing using LO
