I recently changed the name of my store and would like to have my url use the same name, but it appears after chatting with the help desk that ebay doesn't allow that change. Any comments as to why or what can be done about changing it?
In the past it was possible to change your store URL by reverting to the old store format, making the change, and then updating to the new store format. However, I do not know if it is possible to revert to the old store format any longer.
The above-mentioned solution does not work anymore.
I've spent some time searching how old store interface can be accessed now in 2022 and want to share the method I found. Just use this link - https://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?StoreDisplaySettings and you will be able to edit your store URL and some other things not accessible via modern interface.
