I can not change my phone number, SMS confirmation code never arrives to my phone. It is ebay's technical problem.
My friend faces the same problem. He tried various workarounds, he confirmed his old phone number again. And now he can not even login, because eBay stopped sending SMS codes to his old phone number also
No way to login on the new device.
Everybody can check it and make sure it exists, just try to update / change your phone number and you fail to confirm it, because no SMS code will be sent
