This is a slow time of the year, but suddenly several days ago orders stopped coming in on Ebay. We have been on Ebay for many, many years and have had a very few days without orders, but never several. Called Ebay today and they said a new update made my items unavailable. There was a problem understanding her, but this is the best I could understand. She said their tech dept was working on this and should have it resolved in 48 hours. Now, in all this time I am loosing hundreds of dollars of orders. I cannot be the only seller that this has happened to, anyone else experiencing this poor service from Ebay and what should my recourse be.

Never heard that.........I can put your items in the cart.......and do a buy it now on it.......so I would guess CS was blowing smoke..but let's see if someone can tell.
brian@ebay is there this kind of problem???

@tickbitesupply eBay is their own worst enemy ... that means Sellers who pay to use their online sales service suffer when they have system failures or self induced site glitches. They completely killed one account here right after the March 18th GTC mandate ... how do you think it feels to have spent 12 months building a new account to the low 5 figures only to have it tank in 6 weeks and then over the next several months be downsized from Basic Store to Entry Store to Everyday Rate Plan and 50 monthly Free Insertions? Since the inventory was NOT being seen and therefore NOT selling it had to be shifted elsewhere. no sense having several thousand dollars of inventory sitting around doing nothing right?
And oh by the way, if you think Managed Payments will be glitch free and Sellers will get their money on time ... think again.

Hi @tickbitesupply, based on the information you've shared here it sounds like there may have been a miscommunication. There is not a tech issue that would effect your items visibility or sales on the site. It's possible the customer service agent was referring to the Seller Hub issue that caused traffic and impressions data to now be populating, or another site issue. Regardless, I want to confirm again that there is not an issue that would cause your account to go without sales or visibility for your items. As @dhbookds mentioned, your items are visible and can be purchased by buyers.
I apologize for the confusion that call customer service created. I'll be sure to have the call reviewed and pass along any coaching that may be necessary.

I can not make payment at checkout . yes funds are available. Tried paying through PP and using eBay payment method using CC and Debit .
No success.

Your message is interesting as this does not explain the compete stop of orders. Today we have no orders again from Ebay, and I asked the help rep several times during the conversions to be sure that an update several days ago was the problem. She assured me that this was surely the problem and tech had found it and was working to correct this.
We sell a lot of unique items, we have orders everyday and for absolutely no orders, there is a problem somewhere.
Our companies last order on Ebay was Oct 24th, not only are we loosing a ton of money, you are as well. Retraining your operators does not address what is going on here.

After the 48 hour period to fix the update problem promised by the CS rep, suddenly Nov 1 orders start coming in again. Looks like a update glitch to me. I was promised a message detailing the issue and what was done to correct it, hopefully this will shed more light.
