It also kept search engines sites from manipulating search engine results to favor those who paid them for better search results. While ebay is a site that links buyers with sellers it is still a giant search engine. While bottom line could be a cause for the shift in favoring drop shippers over sellers of used items. It could very well be the distributors have paid Ebay to manipulate the search results in their favor giving them a higher chance of their items selling. eBay is not a "search engine site". The change in net neutrality laws has nothing to do with eBay's search results. eBay has flatly stated in the User Agreement, FOR YEARS, that they have the right to restrict search results as they see fit. And they've been doing it for years.
And since you also don't seem to have noticed, search engine sites have been giving preferential placement in exchange for cash FOR YEARS. You've never done a Google search?
