REALLY hoping someone on Ebay sees this. Any help would be greatly appreciated in this matter because I am so frustrated. I've recently noticed so many of the electronics I sell are no longer in a correct category. I've found that some of the old (correct) categories are completely gone now, for instance there is no proper category for board level electronic connectors. Now all of my connectors got moved to this VERY incorrect category:
Business & Industrial > Electrical Equipment & Supplies > Wire, Cable & Conduit > Wire Connectors & Terminal Blocks > Wire & Cable Connectors
They also tried to narrow down the "integrated circuit" (IC's are computer chips) category however the few choices they offer as the last sub category certainly do not encompass the whole range of integrated circuits available and there is no "other integrated circuits" category. Worst of all when they made their recent changes they moved all my IC's into this generic category:
Business & Industrial > Electrical Equipment & Supplies > Other Electrical Equipment & Supplies
There is literally an integrated circuit sub category after this that Ebay didnt bother to use to put my items back in after they made their changes. I may be able to use a mass edit tool to fix SOME of these but not having the accurate category is aggravating. Plus when I use the mass edit tool something always goes wrong, such as the GSP feature gets added to all my listings even ones I wont ship internationally. If you dont know EXACTLY what you're doing then you should have an "other" category at the end of every sub category chain.
