I talk to several people today and since 3:21 this morning EST ebay telling us that we are canceling the listing. Spoke to ebay and they don't know why anyone else having this issues besides 3 people so far with this issue

Just a quick look at your store and I suspect you've run afoul of the new "duplicate listing" policy that's negatively impacting sellers. See the thread in the Seller Hub discussion about the issue. Just another case of eBay not thinking about how a policy change might have serious ramifiactions on the sellers.

THis has nothing to do with duplication issue. The email with the cancellation is saying that I am canceling the listing. I never did cancel its a GTC and also my friend that sells is having the same issue. That he canceling the order. Which we are both not canceling anything

Are you communicating with eBay via phone support? If so can you please provide the number? The one I have takes me into a circular conversation with a robot, and then hangs up. This is happening to far more then just a few vendors. This is insane!!

It is crazy and here is the number I dial into 866-961-9253.
As I type this to you I still getting emails telling me I cancel the listing. By this time tomorrow, I won't have any listing and I started with way over 10000 lists.
Let me know what **bleep** they say to you about this issue

Are these GTC listings that have been up for a long time with no sales? I think eBay is clearing some of those out from things I've read on some of the Discussion Boards.

These are recently added store item and yes they are GTC and they are not duplications. When they cancel the item they are saying I am canceling it which I am not. The Same thing is happening to my friend which he is another part of the USA. It's still going on right now. It only seems to be affecting store listing that is GTC and most so far was just put up 20 days ago.

One last note and it's important they are not duplicates or have UPC. They are telling me that I am canceling them in the item and I quote this is what they say in the email:
"You canceled your listing for this item. Why not relist it? We’ll refund your insertion fees if your item sells."
Password have been changed and the cancellation keeps going on. It started at 3:21 Am this morning and its still going on right now. By tomorrow there I won't have ads left.

Some of your listings use the same photos. I would suspect this is because of the new duplicate listing takedowns - yes, even when the listings are not actually duplicates:

If they were duplicates they would be telling me they are duplicates and they are not. They are telling me that I am canceling the item. I am not canceling the items

check this announcement about duplicates being taken down....

Did you not read when they sent me an email that says this.
I am canceling the item. I am not canceling the items
I not canceling the listing they are.

Thousands of listings removed not one single duplicate ebay have no real explanation all the information having spoke to ebay is utter rubbish over 10 years selling history wiped in one single day.

Hi I am sorry you are having this problem - I do think you are being hit with
the posted new " Spring Cleaning policy" I just checked your listings.
Though you are trying to be helpful to the buyer and list all of your similar items separately
you are not using the Variations option which would combine some of your listings and streamline
your site. ie if you have the same breakpad # X and you are either offering it as a pair, 4, 8 you can
use a variation option and consolidate the listings and then your client choses which option. LIkewise
if you have X in 3 colors or sizes you can do the same. I also noticed that in batteries you have different maker listings & years with the same inv/letter/ number at the end of the title or same stock photo on different years. The system is going to pick this up as a duplicate ! Even though you may not want or think this action on Ebay's part would be helpful the amount of similar listings may seem overwhelming to Ebay and that is why they are doing it. Its basically internet realestate/ space issue. Plus you would save a lot of money in listing fees and make your site more manageable and easier on the eyes for the viewer. In effect it is like switching to cascading windows by having the buyer open the pulldown box to see variations of the item, whether by year, size or quantity. At first it may seem confusing but once you get the hang of it can be useful. Trying to be helpful - you can always state at the bottom of a listing that you stock a wide range of parts and please ask if you dont find what you are looking for. Good luck

PS - I just rechecked your battery listings - I am not sure I understand your titles.
The photographs you are using on many of your batteries are actually a brand name
that is neither listed in the title nor the description. Are you just trying to say that X battery
is good for Y motorcycle and therefore only titling it as specific to that motorcycle?
I think this may be very confusing to Ebay and to others of us. If you said Louch? or Powertram
battery # Z , good for Honda, etc etc both in title and then in description. Ebay policy states you actually have to list the product name which you are not only the model number. I understand you are trying to help your buyers find a fit for their bikes, if you list the models that the battery will match to in your description or up in the item specifics it should make the connection. You have found a creative way to sell your batteries but I am not sure this is the most accurate or compliant way to do it so now I see why you have been flagged. I would reach out to Ebay and get some help if you dont understand what I am trying to point out. If I did this in my business I would have been shut down
