For about 2 days in a row now, there has been this intermittent problem on Ebay under active listings. It seems to depend on the time of day. The view counter is not showing view numbers on most listings. Instead it shows dashes. Before this problem, there was also another intermittent problem where the view count would show up as zeros instead of dashes. Something is definitely wrong with the view counter and I ask eBay to please fix it since this is a very annoying issue. It is impossible to tell how a listing is doing without the view count. Please respond if you are also experiencing the same problem.

today - 7/19/18 - all my active listings show a - on number of views --- no number on any of them -- even 0 which i saw yesterday.
i have not read the full thread here but if it is about numbers under 'view'' coloum not working, it is not working for
our store today. today might be a different problem since i never seen dash (-) before instead of number.

Scroll down on my ebay. Click Selling. Under listings, click active listings. This brings you to the new page ebay wants you to use to manage your listings.

I have the same problem with the view counter. Especially on page one of my listings. Sometimes the other pages will show the count. This did not happen, until the new overview was initiated. It is very frustrating.

I'm finding similar glitches. I notice that the counter for my store hasn't been working since May 18. The system reports ZERO impressions coming from my Store... where it used to produce approx. 20% of my total count. While eBay's Customer Service team may feel that the counters are working... but just not reporting correctly... what good are the Performance metrics when they are missing key data?
It only seems logical that if the counters to my eBay store aren't working... then the algorithms have no way of detecting interest in anything from my store. It's fine that the general search if working... but when I'm paying for outside advertising to drive traffic to my store... that isn't being reflected within my performance data.. then we've got issues.
I assume that with this drop in impressions, traffic, and ultimately SALES... the corresponding drop is directly impacting the algorithms that determine search rankings. It's a downard spiral that can't end in a good place. I currently have more items listed than I've ever had (over 500 listings)... but I'm consistently having days when sales range from $0 to $50... per day.
No business can survive without finding a solution to this problem. It just doesn't seem right that I'm being told (as I was yesterday) that this issue may not have enough people concerned about it... and therefore the tech team isn't pressing to fix it. I just don't get it...

I feel what you are seeing. I found that the reason my impressions, sales down to practically nothing, I found out that all my listings were being re-routed to Canada? I patiently waited for a few months “assuming” I was being throttled. I finally got really concerned after 4 months (not knowing they were in Canada). I was top rated, excellent feedback, but IF I did show up I was at the bottom of every page. After NO sales to speak of, I finally took my personal account, exhausting to re-do every listing, and converted all my listings to a new one! NOW, I’m losing impressions AGAIN. It is pretty concerning. Not sure what is going on?

I’m beyond perplexed! I had started to relax since I moved all my listings (still have some not up yet) and NOW Im’ experiencing OTHER problems. A seller should NOT have to babysit listings. It is too time consuming. I am giving them two weeks to get it straight and then I’m pulling out. I’m about done with them. I have spent an entire Sunday morning into the later afternoon checking my listings, even promoted were NOT promoted! I shut that down because if I do get a sale it will NOT be because they helped me out.
I can’t even start to count exactly how many hours but at least 25 hours putting up listings to a new account so the listings end up in the U.S. instead of Canada! You can’t get adequate help. A few of my friends when hearing them say how annoying it is to even ATTEMPT to discuss anything with them, IF you can understand them at all. They are a warm bodies to do NOTHING to help. AND THEN EBAY SEEMS TO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE LOSING GOOD SELLERS AND BUYERS ALIKE!
I have tried to be kind to them and give them a break even though I’ve been to hell and back with THEIR ISSUES, AND then to be overcharged for 3 months in a row, today is a breaking point for me. I barely have a life outside of trying to make things work for THEM!
I have done everything humanly possible. Chatted with a rep today who stated, “We are getting a lot of calls today. We have a glitch” NO YOU HAVE HAD A GLITCH FOR FIVE MONTHS AND NO ONE IS WILLING TO WORK IT OUT.
I had to give up top rated seller, all my feedback, to a “new” account and their damages to me are adding up. Not meaning I would go sue them, but I’m about to walk and I promise I will walk loudly! I will definitely write to Ina Steiner with my timeline of unfortunate events.

There is definitely something screwy going on again with the view counter. I don't know when it started, but I noticed it today.
