Hello!
EBay removes items from my cart when I try to check-out. I have tried removing every item from the cart, and re-added them. No luck. What is particularly frustrating is that I can go back to the cart from check-out, and the items show as being in the cart. I have removed the offending items from the cart, and re-added them. That didn't work.
These items are from multiple sellers, and is this problem is not the result of ordering too may items from a single seller. I have been trying to fix this for several HOURS, to no avail.
I have a 100% rating with thousands of positives, so that's not it. I'm in the US, funded by a US Bank, and my eBay account is ~20 years old. I've had a PayPal account since they were XBank (does anyone even remember that?).
Each time I try to fix it, MORE items disappear when I try to check-out.
Any ideas?

Thanks, eburtonlab, for your kind response. The problem, I found from a poster in another thread, is, for unknown reasons, that sometimes you are limited to 11 items in your shopping cart. Random items will disappear when you try to check out if you exceed 11. I carefully checked, and every time I exceeded 11 items, POOF!, something disappeared at check-out. I just put the 11 most important items in the cart, which then checked-out properly. The rest I will buy separately. Thanks.

If you are trying to purchase items from multiple sellers, see if you can purchase from each seller separately. There should be a checkbox in your cart that says "pay only this seller" or something similar for each line item. Some sellers may require different payment methods, or may not be set up to allow their purchases to be combined, and these may have to be purchased separately. In some cases, if one item has a guaranteed shipping date and others do not, you might not be able to combine that item with others that are not guaranteed.

At the very least if they are not going to provide information like this in help articles. They should give clear reasons to why the check out failed IE too many items or too many sellers. If there is a specific seller who's preferences are causing a problem eBays system should tell you that that seller was the reason the check out failed so the buyer can fix the issues and complete the purchase. Not doing basic things like this is what lowers sales across the board. While eBay may not care if sellers make money they are losing final value fee's which is supposed to be their main income.
