EBay is restricting me from  making my very first purchase.

Hello,

I tried making payments for an order I made but EBay is restricting me from
making my very first purchase even though I chose PayPal as my payment method
with more than enough balance in my card. The attached screen shot shows their claim with no way or link to solve the issue.

Is this deliberate? If it isn't, then why is this happening? I already tried multiple times to link my PayPal account to Ebay all to no avail.

EBay is restricting me from  making my very first purchase.

You simply need to verify your personal information. A new member would have a link in the email that eBay sent them when they opened the account. Even if you could find that email, the link may not work after a year. You should contact eBay to verify your personal information...

You can call eBay - https://www.ebay.com/help/-/-/Contacting_eBay_Customer_Service?id=4379

Or contact them on Facebook.com/eBay or Twitter.com/AskeBay

For the social sites...You can contact Customer Service on Facebook, via private message and though direct message on Twitter.

Please do not provide any personal or account specific information (username, item number, etc.) publicly, only through private or direct message. An eBay employee will verify your account information and be happy to work with you.

Outside the US?
