Been having a problem with 1 particular listing, listing twice it's the
"Oil Painting Cottondale Alabama Artist John R Kelley Mountain Lodge Study"
and they list at 2 different prices so this time i changed them both to correct price then deleted 1,i am putting this for the benefit of fellow eBay sellers and should it do it again and again and i have to cancel a sale that results from item already being sold i can prove it to eBay and buyer from this thread.
Thanks to this tool i can check: http://www.isdntek.com/ebaytools/DuplicateListings.htm
Many of my items show with this tool because i have many paired paintings that were painted by artist to be sold in pairs that are close but not the same the Kelley listing has been my only problem, but i really recommend sellers check with this tool.

its funny they can fix their bulk editing tool to stop it from doing this. However they can develop a tool to find the listings yet they can not tell sellers or build it into the seller hub. Instead they develop the tool and give it to a partner to house and store. The worst part is that sellers with a large number of items would be the ones effected. This means sellers paying for a store. We are supposed to get support and tools. It would seam this is a tool that should be available in the hub as part of our subscription. The funny thing if you look over ISDNTEK's site they got all sorts of tools to put back things ebay removed from listings like links to your store, active content and so on. Seams like changes just get made to create a need to features that should be provided by ebay rather than remove them so a 3rd party can eventually try to charge a fee thus down the line providing ebay with a way to charge sellers multiple times for their store subcriptions.

The tool identified 7 possible duplicates only one was actually a double listing the others were paired paintings that were different in many ways that i am selling separate (if i sell together i always get the question can i sell just one so this gives buyer an option to buy both)
I hope they don't start doing themselves (removing perceived duplicates) until this is much much more accurate at least 100% that would be much worse if they did it before perfecting,we know how they roll things out kinda like a kid playing with fire in my house, the tool will do until then.

That tool was developed by another eBay member, who has been a friend to eBay sellers for many years. It has processed almost 3.5 billion listings!

The ebay rep from the sales dept that gave me the link said ebay developed it but gave it to ISDNTEK because they thought it would be easier to locate it on that side through goggle searches rather than ebay. Perhaps the rep was wrong but they still need something like this built into the hub. IT would also be nice if the hub would alert you to listings that have had category changes so you would know to edit each listing and check for changes in the categories. Especially since they no longer want you relisting items on your own and verifying the listings information.
