I recall noticing this a year ago and reported it multiple times in the feedback area on listings, but it still seems to be in place. I remember having to send a message to ebay sellers on a few listings to see what was actually listed in the drop down. So there's a huge potential for loss of sales and/or unneeded back and forth messaging put upon sellers if their listing(s) has this issue.
This is for listings where multiple items are being sold. If the text is too long on the other items then it will be cut off to the point where you can't see what you're purchasing.
Notice in the drop down where the text is cut off from being fully displayed.
There's a bunch of useless white space not being utilized.
I've tried multiple browsers and it's the same issue.
Items "out of stock" show the out of stock text next to the item. So that space seems to be available on some level.
