Description is not showing full width?

On some listings the description shows full width for seconds then shows as a narrow column.  Others first show as a narrow column then revert to the full width.  What is going on?

I first thought this it picking up the page size from the default printer, but changing that doesn't seem to fix it.  Any suggestions?

I have seen this once or twice using Firefox. Not sure if other browsers are affected.

Usually refreshing the page is enough to get things to format correctly for me; if not try a shift-refresh.

Clearing cache or eBay cookies might help if it keeps happening, or happens on many pages.

Well I am using Firefox, and if I remember there was an update just before this started happening a few days ago.  I usually find FF quite stable on ebay, but who knows.  Will have to look on the FF boards as I haven't really seen any complaints here on ebay.

Now I have some pages starting wide, going narrow, and coming back wide all in few seconds.  Other pages work just fine.  Plus is it only the description area, nothing else on the page seems to be affected.

At least it isn't just me.

Just got narrow column issue with android when viewing ebay message

This appears to be an on going problem at ebay's end.  Firefox looked into this and also contends it is an ebay issue.

This is definitely an ebay code issue, not Firefox. Here is a screenshot of the code that description is in and it is literally hard coded in to make it that small. It could be that javascript is used to set this, but still ebay code is the problem.

I notice if I eliminate any extra spaces and don't use paragraphs, it reverts to normal width.

Using the ff browser getting the small column format. Seems like this is supposed to be a smartphone preview of the listing? Some other  listings viewed and the full width listing is seen. ??
