When one clicks on the store icon, he is taken to the store Landing page. There are 4 links on the top left:
3 lines (brings up categories), Shop, About, Feedback.
Clicking "Shop" does nothing.........
As an aside......I'm an old fogey..........will anyone know that clicking the 3 lines will cause categories to show? Why not use the word "categories"........???????

Are you using a mobile browser?
Here is how your storefront page looks to me using Firefox on a desktop:
I see the "Shop by category" heading directly, as a drop-down menu.
The "Shop" tab is underlined, indicating that you are already on the "Shop" page. If I click on either the "About" or "Feedback" tabs, then the "Shop" tab will take me back to the storefront page.
I tried looking at the store page on the eBay app. The storefront had no categories showing. I had to click on the store icon in the upper left and then click on the four dots in a circle "button" icon to see the categories.
I generally avoid using stores. I prefer the direct "items for sale" list instead.

Ah, thanks for the explanation on Shop @eburtonlab
Just too old for all this newfangled stuff......
Better half doesn't have the 3 lines either yet so must be rolling out..........this is what it looks like:

I see what you mean about the three-line menu with the hidden categories. I wonder if that is the result of choosing a particular store template.
I notice that the only category shown if I click there is "other" -- perhaps if the seller does not specify a range of categories the option is "hidden" there.
Hopefully the users that prefer to use the store front option to find items will know their way around the various hidden menu features.

I guess the change is rolling out as we speak:
