A month or more ago when error said drafts could not be copied, they actually were copied.

Now, when error appears, no copies are made.

I am thinking that 2 + 2 = 3 in the ebay DRAFTS world.

Think about the New Listing format. Last week, I could not get a Rep to tell me if DRAFTS would continue to be an option with new format. Last night, a Rep verified that it WOULD.

Overnight, I am thinking this thru. New Listing format has opened up, but many of us are still using old listing format. BUT, what if ebay went and implemented the changes so that DRAFTS will work only with the NEW listing..???? That would explain why Draft Copies have not worked most of the past week..?? As far as I know, there is not a Drafts for Old format and a different Drafts for New format.

If anyone is using NEW listing format and having success with copying DRAFTS, that could be the answer. Please speak up. And that is the kinda OOPS that ebay is gonna have a tough time explaining to us Sellers.

Hope I am wrong, but it sure makes sense to this retired System Designer..!! You can only break DRAFTS by going in and making changes to DRAFTS, right.??? Whether on purpose or OOPS, the result is the same.

I am having same problem you are having. Draft saying couldn't copy is not new. New draft templates were actually there once the page was refreshed. That problem has been going on for a couple of months at least. However, the new problem is like you said. The copies are absolutely not showing up at all even when refreshing the page. This has been happening since at least Wednesday March 10th. Making new drafts is now useless.

Having same issue, was corresponding back and forth with eBay help centre last friday 12th March and was getting no where... Have emailed them screen shots of the error to them as per requested, explained the issue thoroughly AND numerously only to have them tell me you can not duplicate a listing and ask me for the listing number.... Don't know how many times I had to explain I wasn't copying/duplicating a listing but a DRAFT!! Therefor no listing number! This went on for most of an afternoon and finished with them saying someone from the 'technical team' will be back in touch we me via email..... which still hasn't happened.

This error is a big inconvenience, how is it not rectified yet when the error has been happening to obviously everyone for months and as of last week officially not working at all even after refreshing the screen.

If anyone else gets a good outcome or a solution please share....

Ebay finally fixed the Copy feature on the "Drafts" page. It took 'em a week but they trudged through the cold and the snow and finally got there. I attempted to make a Copy and it worked. Well, at least it worked for me. Your mileage may vary.
