For the past 5 days the Contact Member process through the Feedback profile keeps giving me the following message:
"Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later."
I have put the correct item number when prompted to "Enter item Number" and when I click "continue" I recieve the error message.
Any idea when this will be fixed?

I rarely use the messaging system, so I am not the best person to address this issue. That error message can appear due to many different problems.
If you are trying to contact a seller through a link on an item page, and you receive that message, try using the contact link on the seller's profile page instead, as one of the previous posters suggested. If neither works, and the error message persists, see if you can determine if the problem has to do with that particular seller, or with other sellers you try to contact as well.
In the original poster's case, it appears that the link to contact that particular seller was not updated to the new format. Something was apparently fixed back in October, but I have no idea whether this involved changing individual links or changing how old links are handled by the software.
Your issue may be one the same problem re-occurring, another instance that was never addressed, or an entirely new issue altogether.

I am experiencing this issue now because the sender is starting to become less help. He/she told me that they will be sending a shipping label for the items because they are defective. I still haven't received the shipping label and I feel like the seller is leading me on. So I tried to report the seller and I keep getting an error message every time. My expiration date is getting near and nothing has been done.

Time to call eBay Support via the phone then, about both issues, and ask them to escalate the issue with the seller.

If you need to talk to seller, go to the seller's page and create a message from there. If eBay asks the item number, skip it. Just mention the item number in the message itself.

Hi,
I cannot contact the seller I bought an item from. After I bought it I had no problems contacting him, but now after 2 months I cannot. I have few suggestions where the bug might be related to:
1.Time period - like I said I could contact him at the beginning but now after 2 months -no
2.Item is not available any more - when the seller remove the item after successful transaction
3.After the successful deal and the deal is marked as Finished

I'm getting this problem too; I get this on my laptop, "Oops. Something went wrong. Please try again later.", and this on my phone app, "Oops. Fail to add member message.". I'm trying to return an item that does not work.
Any ideas anyone...?

I'm experiencing some technical problems as well.
When I click on "contact seller" nothing happens.
when a seller sends me a message and I click on "reply" to answer him, nothing happens.

I've been trying to ask a seller about more measurements for some clothing. I can write the message but when I try to send it I get the "something went wrong, please try again" message.

Hi, I have a problem! My account was blocked and I don’t understand why! I already contacted ebay about this problem about five times and ebay still didn’t send me reply!
For now I haven’t received two orders and I want to contact seller to inform him but it’s impossible because every time I tried to contact the seller I have this mistake: Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later.
