Constantly have to log back in, Ebay ignores "trusted device"

Recently, maybe since about 2 months ago, I am constantly forced to log back in sometimes twice/day, sometimes every couple of days.  I always "tell" the system to "trust my device."  What has changed? Is there anything I can do about it?  I have been an Ebay user for several decades and have never been hassled like this.

Something may be clearing cookies stored by your browser.

Have you changed anything about your network connection in those last two months? Start using a VPN or a hotspot? Add a new privacy program or change your settings with Ghostery or Disconnect?

Have you changed your browser settings to erase cookies upon exit, or started using a cleaner program that periodically erases your browser cookies?

If nothing has changed, you may have an issue with your eBay cookies in your browser. A corrupt or blocked cookie can cause issues. If you do not experience the same issue when using a different browser, try manually erasing just your eBay cookies in the original browser.

Many thnx for the ideas/suggestions.  Nothing has changed.  I knew the VPN could be the culprit and have tried using Ebay with and without the VPN being on...no help when not on.  Interestingly, since posting the issue, I have not been kicked out of Ebay....still logged in.   Assuming it starts acting up, again, I'll delete history and clear cookies.

Is the VPN using a static or dynamic IP-address? The former may work better than the latter.

In any case, good luck!
