Completed & Sold Search Not Working Right Completed Listings Checked Automatically When Sold Checked

For days now when I do a search for Sold Listings by checking the box in left hand column it now automatically clicks the Completed Listings also? I can then go back and remove the check for Completed Listings, it does refresh but then it only shows a small fraction of the Sold Listings and even though the Sort is Time: Newly Listed as you go down the page you have a sold item May-6 08:23 then next sold item is May-5 20:45 then next sold item is May-6 05:42 and so on (times are not in order) and about 75% of the sales are not even there. We do a search each day to see sold prices of similar items we are going to list. Right now this search is of little help since most of it is not even there. It would appear to be some kind of glitch in the Search engine but not finding much on it anywhere here in the boards. Any help would be appreciated.

@robinray  For the cell phone issue of the "classic site"  not working have you tried this:

Use your phones browser and go to ebay.com. Then using your phones browser settings request the desktop site. You will then have the same site as on a pc. You will have to zoom a lot but it does work and doesn't revert to the mobile view like the classic site does.

Android:
Chrome> Ebay.com> select the 3 dot Chrome menu in the upper right hand corner> select use desktop site

Iphone:
How to request the desktop version of a website in mobile Safari
Visit the affected site in Safari.
Tap and hold the Refresh button in the URL bar.
Tap Request Desktop Site.
The website will then reload as its desktop version

Many thanks!  The press-and-hold the arrow in the URL worked. One more thing worth noting, on the iPhone, when the site resets, there is a blue square menu icon in the upper left corner. It must be clicked to reveal the side bar showing the boxes to be checked for sold, complete, etc.

Nice workaround. Thanks again for the help.

@robinray  Thanks for the Iphone tip about my tip.  🙂  ... I will add your info to my macro.

I don't have an Iphone so I couldn't test the instructions.

Completed & Sold Search Not Working Right Completed Listings Checked Automatically When Sold Checked

Been checking everyday since this started for me a couple of weeks ago and as of today it does appear fixed (with Google anyway - have not tried Firefox again). Of course a few days back I said the same thing and same/similar problems arose again. So finally, again as before my search problems started when box for Sold Listings (Toys and Hobbies) is checked (Completed Listing box remains unchecked) and if I start with a search for current New Listings and use sort Time: newly listed then, check the Sold Listings box the Completed Listings box remains unchecked (was checking it automatically before) and the Sort: automatically reverts to End Date: recent first just as it did before my troubles started. It appears someone at eBay did work on the system and for at least now it appears everything is working the same as it did weeks back before my search problems started. If this is the case thank you eBay.

Completed & Sold Search Not Working Right Completed Listings Checked Automatically When Sold Checked

This just recently started happening (about a month ago, 8/2018) with Chrome. I've always looked under "my sold items" and clicked on "items to ship". Then i click the box at the bottom or the top of the page and it selects all the items that have paid and are ready to ship. A second window opens with my items, the shipping options that i've chosen, etc. with a button to purchase labels at the bottom.

Except now it doesn't.

The boxes have to be manually clicked on to make a label (the top and bottom boxes are there but don't work)

Sometimes it says I need to ship something that I have already shipped.

Today, the boxes were all checked but it only produced 8 (out of 12) labels to be printed in the second (bulk shipping) window.

It's a mess. I'm fortunate that i can mentally track what i've sold but for others this is a nightmare. Help!

Still not working correctly.  Using Chrome 69.0.3497.100 (newest version) on desktop Windows 10. Also happens on my laptop with Windows 7

Only checks sold box, but when you look at the items, many show as being relisted. Go to active listings, and indeed they are relisted. When I search for sold, I expect to get actual sales to compare with, not items that were simply relisted.

I agree that the sold searches are returning less and less info. I've tested on items that I've sold in the recent past and they don't always show up. Try different sorts, same thing. Tried the same searches on active, then go out to google and search the very same key words. Google turns up items listed on ebay that ebay's search didn't turn up (and yes if you click on them they are still available, just not in the search on ebay). Changing the parameters of where searching (default, US, North America, World) still doesn't bring in those items.

Makes me wonder if when others put in key words for what I'm selling if they are even seeing my listings!
