Combined shipping defaulted to Media Mail

I sold two items to the same buyer. Individually, both items were listed as First Class Packages. eBay combined them into the same shipment, which bumped them into a combined weight over 1 pound, which should have been Priority Mail. I had Free Shipping offered on both items. When I went to print the shipping label through eBay, the selected default mailing option for the shipment was Media Mail. Fortunately, I noticed this, because the shipping cost was so low. Is this a typical default, or is this a glitch?

@brilloslc  I always have to adjust the shipping weight and package size and then select the correct shipping method.

@brilloslc   Most likely it's a glitch ... the shipping methods eBay returns are at time very inconsistent.
