Checkout issues when trying to pay with PayPal

Hi,

I saw that there was and thread created earlier about this issue with the checkout error and not being able to pay for your item via PayPal. When clicking on the "Confirm and pay" button and typing in your information linked to the PayPal account the site (both the web browser and app) get stuck with processing the information for  long time, but the payment is never completed.

Do people besides me still have this problem?

One possible thing to try: open another browser tab and go directly to paypal.com and sign in to your account, and then navigate to the previous tab and try to checkout from eBay again.

I'm having a similar issue, except that mine is coming back with the following error:

Sorry, this payment option isn't available. Here are your options:

• Contact PayPal customer service to resolve this issue.

My PayPal is working just fine, I used it earlier this morning with no issues.  Logging into PayPal in another tab as suggested made no difference.
