Changing profile pages

What used to be easy, changing and updating our profile pages, was disabled years ago. Why? And how do we fix it? I've posted questions and anybody has yet to help and the problem has yet to be corrected. The 'edit pencil' is gone. Now it's just a viscous circle of re-routing. Can anybody help please?

Did you get it to work ?

I am using Windows 10 with edge & just took this shot with the pencil & was able to edit 


On a PC
My ebay, hover over top left hand corner where you see your name then click the picture box
To right of box click edit profile, pencil appears top right corner, click pencil
Look to bottom of picture for remove or change, when all done click done editing.

It cannot be done on any mobile device and I did try once switching my iphone App to classic site and it still couldn't be done.

If your using a PC have you tried it in different browsers ?

Also works fine...Win 10 and FireFox 57.0

You may wish to delete cookies for your browser. Ccleaner.exe is good for this. Google it, it is free.

The Edit ‘button’ was gone from the left of my page for ten months at this point. It returned and has been there since. I don’t know what happened. eBay anyone? Haha

I never use my mobile device for eBay but It happened to be the longest lasting glitch I’ve ever seen. After ten months however, it was restored.
