Change Default Settings

When I open e-Bay, it defaults to List View and Best Match. 

How can I change that so it opens with Gallery and Newly Listed ?

Starting with a keyword search that returns many results, use the Customize menu which can be found in the upper right where you can select between List or Gallery view. From there you can change the default sort order and view settings.

Customized menu is located on the right it looks like 3 lines or a ladder. see image below.

That 3 bar Icon is for Firefox and does not affect e-Bay.

On a desktop browser, that particular icon lets the user choose between List or Gallery view, or see the "Customize" menu when starting from an eBay search results page.

Are you using a desktop browser? If you are using a mobile browser, put it in desktop mode first, then follow the instructions above. Search using keywords -- something that returns at least a few results, otherwise options to sort do not appear.

If you are using the eBay app, the options you want are under the Filter menu, but you may need to enable lockable filters first to set a default sort order.
