No it is the same as your buying/selling ID
Only way around it is a 2nd ID for posting only

What if you change your id instead of opening a new account. I have seen one avatar attached to an id, when I click on their feedback score it takes you to their changed id with a new different avatar on ebay myworld. They just changed their id recently, but it is the same account. So maybe there is a lag time for updating it here or a glitche to allow it. I will PM an example.

@labs118is correct in response to your post that your community ID avatar is tied to your ebay marketplace ID.

I'm not sure how the avatar connection in My eBayWorld works, I'll have to look into that.

In the example I mentioned earlier, I believe that they changed their id on their account and then changed their avatar afterward. I think if they changed their avatar first it would have changed their avatar on all of their previous posts here. So probably any more posts they make here with their new id would have their new picture associated with it. Does this sound correct?

Or do you think the system will allow them to continue posting with the original avatar associated with previous id, even though they are not using it in the main area anymore. Keep in mind, they did not open a new account just for posting. All they did was change their id on their existing account.

I appologize for such a long and detailed question.

I'm sorry I probably used the wrong wording in asking my question. The ebay MyWorld is the ebay marketplace id profile page. It may not be called MyWorld anymore, but basically: ebay My World = ebay marketplace. So if @labs118 is correct, I have my answer. I was hoping I could have a different avatar on each. It is possible I still could, if I followed the example in my previous two posts, but I don't want to change my original id. Maybe I will add a new one the future.
