Seems like every now & then eBay will go bonkers with the repeated captcha puzzles, but this latest glitch has been going on for more than a week now. I use Microsoft edge, Windows 11 & when I click certain links like member's feedback page, item bids, etc. I'll get hit with another captcha. And yes, I tried clearing the cookies & signing out then back in. It's still ongoing for more than 10 days straight now. Supposedly, eBay support is aware of this, but still no word on when it will be fixed. Anybody else experiencing this now?

Repeated Captcha requests or failures might be a sign that your browser is having problems saving cookies properly, or else a sign of a network issue. Using a VPN or a hotspot, or certain kinds of privacy software might also cause some issues.
Make sure your browser is up-to-date and has JavaScript enabled (and not blocked) and that cookies are not being blocked:

Try using a different browser or a private or incognito browser window and see if you run into the same Captcha issues. If not, try manually erasing just your eBay cookies manually in your original browser.
Try an alternative link to sign in to rule out an issue with a particular link:
https://signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
If you are using a mobile browser, try changing to a different browser mode: mobile, classic or desktop. Try a desktop browser or a mobile browser in desktop mode.
Or try using the eBay app.
If you contact eBay directly, mention ALERT15299 to have your account added to the open ticket.

I do have the latest version of Microsoft Edge, & also tried Google Chrome & am getting the same captcha prompts there as well. Cleared the browser cache & cookies but didn't seem to help. I chatted with two different eBay reps about this several days ago & they are aware of this issue but no word on a possible fix, if ever.

Try Firefox. Or the eBay app on your phone.

This is rarely a browser issue. Something gets botched every so often and this happens. I remember this happening to me around a year or two ago.
You can also tell that it's a wider issue with ebay and not an issue with the users browser because it's apparently well-known and widespread enough for them to have given it its own ID: ALERT15299

Problems with corrupt cookies, script blockers or JavaScript issues can cause repeated Captcha requests, so it makes some sense to rule each of those out by trying something simple -- like using a different browser -- to see if that gets around the problem, even if you think the chances of success are relatively low.
eBay assigns Alert numbers to many issues in order to obtain more data about ongoing problems long before the cause of the issue is known, so making assumptions based solely on that assignment seems unwarranted.
If the problem is actually on eBay's end, trying another browser costs you nothing but a few seconds of your time, and leaves you no worse off. It might actually let you complete a purchase or sign in where you couldn't before, and it might lead to diagnosing and solving the problem.
If you start out by assuming that the problem must be on eBay's end, you may find yourself waiting quite a long time for a fix that is not coming.
Finally, it is entirely possible for eBay to cause a problem for a particular browser version or a particular browser setup, and that simply using a different browser can bypass that problem.
