I had a buyer recently ask for a refund. I received the item back but everytime I attempt to refund via ebay I get the error "Your refund did not go through. Please try again later or contact us" When I look at the transaction through paypal it says the payment is "pending" and on "hold" and no option to issue refund. There are also no cases open in the resolution center. What do I do?

Do you have a cash balance in PayPal sufficient to cover the entire refund, including any fees or taxes that may have been removed?

I didnt before, but I do now and that seemed to make it go through. Thanks!

You have to have enough cleared funds in your Pay Pal account for the refund to process

Hi, but what about a partial refund? I'm experiencing this issue after the buyer accepted the refund offer and I have the agreed amount in my balance, but it is not working! The transaction is still on hold on Paypal due to the eBay case which seems to be closed. What should I do now? Thanks!
