Bought an item, going through checkout, select PayPal. (Tried this on Firefox and Chrome) Login popup (Firefox) for PayPal comes up, put my ID and password (have 2 factor so am expecting it'll ask for a number) but things just spin for 10 seconds and then disappear and I'm back to my checkout screen without a payment method selected.
The only difference on Chrome was that the login for PayPal on it is a new tab (instead of a small popup window on Firefox), but on login, it dissapears and focuses back on eBay tab with a couple of small circles spinning and then those disappear and we're back to no selection of Payment Method.
The only thing that has changed for me since my last purchase was probably 2 factor (on eBay and PayPal). I muttled through with a Credit Card (unchecked save for next time) but that is not the way I'll do shopping on eBay - they're way too untrustworthy to do that all the time with. (example was their 2 factor setup, crazy to find then they offer 2 options, but the more secure (non SMS) option literally won't finish setting up (others on the web see this as well several weeks earlier), like someone didn't check if setup works in production after they pushed it out. Don't want to keep my credit card running through that IT department.
