Is this happening to anybody else?
I can see the buyer attached a screenshot. I cannot open the image.
I tried 2 different browsers and the app.
I pulled up messages from yesterday with pics attached that opened without issue yesterday. Right now those images will not open either. I can't see beyond the miniature thumbnails.
I hope this is just a Thursday site maintenance issue that will resolve by the morning - but it's certainly an obstacle right now as I'm trying to assist a buyer in real time.

Unfortunately this issue is still occurring today.
Messages have been really messed up lately - I expect this is because they're making backend changes in line with the Winter Seller Update.
For a while there were problems with listing images appearing skewed, with listing links not appearing, odd formatting and other issues. The problems come and go within a few weeks. The previous issues haven't been a big deal because they were mostly just funky displays.
This attachment issue, however, is a big problem. If buyers and sellers cannot open images attached to messages that hinders communications both pre- and post-sale.

Just an FYI; I can open a picture attachment from messages received on 3/15 and 3/16 (last 2 I got with a pic; 1 from a potential buyer and the other from a confirmed already-paid buyer)

I just saw a post from an iOS/Mac user that was having problems viewing images in messages; thumbnails appeared, but the large images were not viewable.
I just tried sending messages to myself from one account to another and was able to view message images using Firefox on a Windows 10 machine.

I appreciate the added info. I am using a Mac. I tested with multiple browsers - also tested using the iOS app.
Generally something like that will work on the app when broken on the web, but not this time.
I made sure the app is up to date, as are all the browsers I tested (Safari, Firefox and reluctantly Chrome), and the OS on my laptop and phone.

Tagging in @txcardfam7 as they started the other thread about this (link).

Update: It's now working in Chrome on iOS. Since I don't use Chrome that doesn't help me much, but perhaps will help some others running into this problem.

It's still not working in Safari and I wish I had checked here and saw others had the same issue before i spent an hour turning on and off setting options

I reported the issue to CS @kleankeith, but you should do the same. If you have Twitter or Facebook that would be the easiest route to take because the CS team on those venues is US-based. The more people that report it the better chance we have at a fix.
